Danilyn Nguyen

Associate Counsel, Danilyn Nguyen was born in Saigon, Vietnam, where she spent the first nine years of her life. In 1994, her family emigrated to the United States as refugees and settled in San Jose, California. She grew up in San Jose and attended the University of California at Berkeley, earning a Bachelors of Arts in 2006 with double majors in Political Science and Social Welfare. She then attended Santa Clara University and received her Juris Doctorate in 2009.

While attending UC Berkeley, Danilyn interned at the Wiley C. Manuel Courthouse in Oakland and provided assistance to the Pretrial Services Division of the court. During law school, Danilyn served as Judicial and Clinical intern with the Santa Clara County Superior Court, Family Division, where she worked with the Family Court Judges and assisted self-represented parties at the Family Court Clinic. Danilyn is bilingual and fluent in Vietnamese as well as English.
